Cast Technologies is known for delivering excellent service to clients across industries. That same level of commitment to good corporate citizenship is seen in the communities where Cast Technologies employees live and work.
Cast Technologies' top community priorities are education and bridging “the digital divide” – an access and technology gap that exists between the rich and the poor, minorities and majority communities, the connected and the unconnected, and the “haves” and the “have-nots”. Cast Technologies volunteers make a difference in communities around them by donating thousands of hours every year making life better for others. In 2006, Cast Technologies employees will in totality volunteer more than 10,000 hours to various global nonprofit organizations and neighborhood schools.
Cast Technologies’ effort supports nonprofit organizations involved in education and youth development. The majority of development efforts will be directed to these organizations in support of the productive use of technology in programs and processes. The remainder of the efforts will be directed to general program support.

Today, there is a technology gap that exists between the rich and the poor, minorities and majority communities, and the connected and the unconnected. Additionally, there is a gap growing between the developed/industrialized countries and the developing/lesser-developed countries. This technology gap encompasses lack of access to hardware, software, connectivity, and competent training in the productive application of technology.
In support of this mission, the Cast Technologies’ effort focuses on supporting comprehensive technology solutions that increase performance and productivity in educational institutions and community organizations. A technology solution integrates a varieties of components. |
